Rum Glaze


1/4 lb butter
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup dark rum

Melt butter in a sauce pan. Whisk in water and sugars. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, whisking constantly. Remove from heat and whisk in the rum.  Use while hot.
